Two hours and 30 minutes away from the port of Daet,
Camarines Norte awaits an island of paradise. Calaguas Island is one of the
tourist spots that Daet is proud of.
Sugary fine sand, breezy atmosphere and the feeling of being
close to nature is what makes Calaguas island interesting. Relax and let your
stress be away as you dive in the clear water or build a sand castle with your
friend.
If you’re a bit adventurous you can go hiking at the peak of
the mountain and take a glimpse of the whole island and its white sand.
Calaguas Island is comparable to Boracay in terms of sand
texture and ocean water but with fewer tourists, less stalls and
infrastructure.
Nightlife:
Unlike many tourist island destinations, Calaguas is not
much of a developed tourist destination making it more suiting for those who
want to be out of the city life. You can bring your own musical instrument like
guitar and beat box and play some music along the shore while drinking your
favorite drinks.
Going Around:
Touring along the shore there are at most five resorts
available that suits according to your budget and having their own services to offer
and if you have some volleyball or Frisbee disk you can play on the shore. You can also take a selphy photo on the
stones with a perfect background of the island. You can also be up in the
mountain with your friends for some adventure and take a picture of a panoramic
view.
